Strictly's Daisy Lowe shares baby girl's name after welcoming first child

Strictly Come Dancing star Daisy Lowe has given birth to a baby girl and shared her daughter's beautiful name.

The model confirmed the happy news on Monday (April 10) that she and fiancé Jordan Saul had safely welcomed their first child into the world, before revealing her name.

In a sweet picture showing the couple cradling the newborn, Daisy wrote on Instagram: "Our Easter egg finally hatched! Ivy Love Saul you have made all my dreams come true- our dream girl.

"I have never known happiness or love like this," she added. "I can’t stop crying tears of joy Happy Easter Loves".

The pair received a host of congratulations in the comments, with This Morning presenter Dermot O'Leary writing: "Hey! Congrats xx".

Singer Lily Allen shared a series of red heart emojis, while Spice Girls star Melanie C added: "Yay! She finally arrived Enjoy beautiful mama. It’s the best".

Daisy, who appeared on Strictly in 2016, confirmed back in October that she was expecting a baby, saying at the time: "I wanted to share some news with you- Jordan & I are having a baby.

"We are absolutely bursting at the seams with happiness. I’m oscillating wildly between excitement & nervousness with a dash of morning sickness thrown in for good measure! Big love to all of you."

She later added in an Instagram Story: "I just wanted to say the biggest thank you for all your gorgeous messages.

"I’m just very excited and I’m so happy I can finally share it with you guys. So, I can’t believe I’m going to be a mum. But really, it’s made us so happy and warmed our hearts so much so thank you."

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
