Strictly Come Dancing winner Hamza Yassin will return to screens this month, for a second series of Ranger Hamza's Eco Quests.

The wildlife documentarian, who was crowned the 2022 Strictly champion with professional dancer Jowita Przystał, confirmed that his kids nature show will be back on CBeebies for a second outing soon.

Each episode will see a team of young children (aka the Ramblers) join Ranger Hamza exploring the natural world through a series of eco quests that celebrate "everyday wonders and the important role they play in our environment".

Of the series renewal, Hamza said: "I love exploring the outdoors with the Ramblers. Together we discover just how incredible nature is, and how everything plays its part in creating our different natural habitats, wherever they may be!

"You can find nature anywhere, and whether its spotting a bee or a badger, finding a sunflower or digging in the soil for earthworms, it's always fun to spot nature with the Ramblers."

Viewers won't have to wait too long for Hamza's TV return, with season two arriving on CBeebies from November 27.

Episodes last for around 14 minutes, with season 2 comprising of 20 episodes.

Kate Morton, Senior Head of Commissioning for CBeebies, says: "Ranger Hamza brings his passion for the natural world sharing his enthusiasm with our CBeebies audience to develop a love for the world around them.

"Showing the hidden stories of how wildlife works together to make the world a better place."

Ranger Hamza's Eco Quests season one is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
