Strictly's Kevin Clifton unveils shaved head transformation
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Kevin Clifton has unveiled a new look.
The pro dancer debuted his hair transformation over the weekend while co-hosting a WWE SummerSlam party as part of his podcast Gorilla Position.
Taking to Instagram, Kevin shared a shot from the event, taken by Crispian Blaize Photography, that shows him imitating the operatic entrances of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Freakin' Rollins.
His Instagram followers were big fans of his new look — and so is his partner Stacey Dooley, who shared her own snap of Kevin with his short-hair look.
Kevin has regularly been involved in pro wrestling since leaving the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom in March 2020, including chatting about WWE news on his podcast.
Earlier in the summer, Clifton confirmed that he planned to take a break from all performance work after welcoming a daughter, Minnie, with Dooley in January.
"I left Strictly Come Dancing and then COVID happened," he explained to Digital Spy. "Then, since we came out of COVID, I've sort of gone back-to-back with different shows non-stop.
"It went Singin' in the Rain, Rock of Ages, The War of the Worlds, Burn the Floor, then I did The Games on ITV, Who Do You Think You Are? and then back to Singin' in the Rain on tour. Then I started rehearsals for Strictly Ballroom the day after I finished Singin' in the Rain."
That's definitely one very busy pro dancer! His partner Stacey has also recently discussed the possibility of getting married to Kevin after five years together.
"Marriage has never been massively important to me. Also, it's well-documented that Kev's done it a couple of times before," she said.
"So, you do have to bear that in mind, coming down the aisle like: 'Hello everyone, I know what you're all thinking'. It's just never been something I've dreamt about."
Kevin has been married three times before, including to fellow Strictly Come Dancing pro Karen Hauer between 2015 and 2018.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
