Strictly Come Dancing star Stacey Dooley has shared an adorable gift received from her daughter Minnie.

The star welcomed her baby with partner Kevin Clifton last January, and (with a little help) the newborn has now sent her mother a sweet good luck card ahead of Stacey's starring role in the West End's 2:22: A Ghost Story.

The documentarian shared a clip of the cute gift on her Instagram, showing off the card with the words "good luck Mummy" on the front.

Accompanied by numerous stickers, the inside read: "I love you so much from Minnie," while the back included Minnie's hand outline with the words: "Original palmwork by Minnie Dooley."

"LOML," the star captioned the post alongside a crying face emoji.

It comes after Stacey marked a sweet milestone for Minnie back in December as her daughter took part in a meet and greet with Santa Claus for the first time.

"Not me and Santy C in matching Bottega boots," the star wrote at the time. "My baby saw Santa today, played with all the big kids and danced with the helpers. @theofficialselfridges THANK U".

Stacey's casting in 2:22 was confirmed in April, with the star set to take over the role of Jenny at the Gielgud Theatre for 10 weeks, while fellow Strictly winner Joe McFadden will play Sam and James Buckley will return to the role of Ben.

"Delighted to be involved in the next adaptation of 2:22! Made up!" the star said at the time of her casting.

"I fell for the play when I went to watch it in 2022. All four characters feel so familiar, which means the subtle 'ghost story' just works so brilliantly. Can't wait to bring Jenny back to life! Let's go!"

Previous iterations of the show have starred the likes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Stephanie Beatriz, Doctor Who's Mandip Gill, and One Tree Hill's Sophia Bush.

Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
