Strictly Come Dancing's Tyler West has called the competition show's infamous 'curse' a "blessing" after recently confirming his relationship with Molly Rainford.

The couple first met while competing against each other on Strictly last year and, after months of rumours, finally confirmed their romance last week.

Tyler opened up about his relationship with Molly during a recent appearance on Lorraine, after the presenter asked him: "You're all sorted, aren't you? You and your Molly, you're all sorted, in fact she came in with you this morning."

"I mean my smile says everything, it really does," Tyler gushed, to which Lorraine added: "I'm so pleased for you two, it's lovely because we always hear about the Strictly curses which are a bit silly."

"It's a blessing," said Tyler. "I will say, people are being so lovely about it so, I mean my smile says it all."

When Lorraine then asked Molly what initially attracted her to Tyler, the former BGT contestant admitted that her new flame's Strictly dance partner, Dianne Buswell "sold him very well".

Tyler and Molly confirmed their relationship on TikTok last week by lip-syncing to a scene from Friends, where Rachel and Joey discover that they both know about Monica and Chandler's secret fling.

Fans and friends shared their excitement for the couple, including Strictly pro dancer Neil Jones, who commented: "This makes me soooo happy."

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
