Succession's Kieran Culkin beats co-stars in Emmy Awards win
Succession's Kieran Culkin came out on top ahead of his co-stars Jeremy Strong and Brian Cox at yesterday's (January 15) Primetime Emmy Awards.
The trio were nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category, alongside Jeff Bridges for The Old Man, Bob Odenkirk for Better Call Saul and Pedro Pascal for The Last of Us.
Ultimately, it was the Roman Roy star who took home the award.

Accepting his first-ever Emmy up on stage, Culkin told his wife Jazz Charton, who was sitting in the audience: "Thank you for sharing your life with me and giving me two amazing kids... I want more.
"You said 'maybe' if I win! I love you so much."
He continued by giving credit to his long-time manager.
"I have to thank my manager, Emily Gerson Saines, who I've been with about 29 years. Sorry Emily, you probably didn't want me to say the number but I did," he said.
"I just have to thank you for keeping my name in the conversation when nobody else was talking about me, so as far as I'm concerned, this is yours."

Only a week ago was Culkin doing exactly the same thing at the Golden Globe Awards, beating both Strong and Cox to the Best Actor in a TV Drama prize.
"Thanks to Succession, I have been [in this room] a couple of times," the actor said at the time. "It's nice but I accepted I was never going to be on the stage. So this is a nice moment."
Strong and Cox played eldest child Kendall Roy and angry father Logan Roy respectively on HBO's comedy drama.
Succession aired on HBO in the US, and is available on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
