Suits breaks its own streaming record
Legal drama Suits has broken its own streaming record for the third time following its addition to Netflix in June.
Despite ending in 2019, the series has proven it's still extremely popular with fans, pulling in huge viewing figures for the third week in a row.
According to the Nielsen streaming charts, Suits racked up 3.7 billion viewing minutes across the United States for the week commencing July 3. That's up 17% from its previous record of 3.1 billion minutes viewed the week prior (via Deadline).
The total viewing figures are calculated from minutes viewed across both Netflix and Peacock across Suits' 136 episodes.

The impressive figures also mean Suits now ranks at number 13 on Nielsen's highest-rated shows of all time based on weekly viewing figures, joining the likes of Stranger Things, Wednesday, Tiger King and Ozark.
What's more, Nielsen notes that the majority of Suits streaming minutes are still coming from the first seasons — meaning that the drama could enjoy many more weeks in the charts.
The series first aired from 2011 to 2019, starring Meghan Markle as Rachel Zane, Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter, Sarah Rafferty as Donna Paulsen, Patrick J. Adams as Mike Ross, Dulé Hill as Alex Williams and Katherine Heigl as Samantha Wheeler.

Also on the list of most-watched series from July 3 to July 9 are The Lincoln Lawyer and The Witcher, with 1.4 and 1.2 billion minutes viewed, respectively.
That week covered the premiere of season three, volume one of the fantasy series. Volume two — which is Henry Cavill's last outing as Geralt of Rivia before Liam Hemsworth takes over — premiered on July 27, meaning that the show will likely remain on the charts for at least a few more weeks.
