Superman & Lois star confirms return for final season
Superman & Lois star Erik Valdez has confirmed his character's return for season 4.
Valdez, who plays Kyle Cushing on the show, will return for its fourth and final season (via TVLine).
In an Instagram post, Valdez shared a smiley "trailer selfie" in which he posed with his hands displaying the peace sign.

He also included a second image of two pairs of shoes, explaining the black boots were his dad's "signature" shoes that he has been allowed to wear in the upcoming season.
"First slide: Season 4 hasn't officially kicked off until the first trailer selfie, right!?
"Second slide: another Kyle vs Erik shoe pic, but this one's a bit different. I had a chat with our wonderful costumes dept and they agreed to let me honor my Dad by wearing his signature black boots.
"Kyle's gonna have a bit more pep in his step and maybe a few more dance moves this season. Love you, Dad…miss you every single day. ❤️#SupermanAndLois," the caption read.
"Welcome back, Kyle! That's so kind of them to let you keep your dad close like that! I hope filming goes well for you! 🙏🏽" a follower replied.
Valdez's return is good news for fans, after it was revealed that Tyler Hoechlin (Clark Kent/Superman), Elizabeth Tulloch (Lois Lane), Alex Garfin (Jordan Kent), Michael Bishop (Jonathan Kent) and Michael Cudlitz (Lex Luthor) would be the only five actors returning as series regulars; and the new season would have fewer episodes than usual.

Meanwhile, Tulloch has also shared some exciting updates regarding the filming, via X - formerly Twitter.
Tulloch posted a selfie inside her dressing room: "Day 1, Season 4. 0530am wake up but we are all very happy to finally be back to work!" she revealed.
Superman & Lois airs on The CW in the US, and on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK.
