Survivor UK confirms reboot premiere date
The BBC has confirmed the premiere date for its revival of Survivor.
The new series of the physical and psychological challenge, this time presented by Joel Dommett, will kick off on Saturday, October 28 at 8.25pm.
Fans won't have to wait long until the next episode either, as the second installment will air the very next day (Sunday, October 29) at 8pm.

Survivor will see 18 contestants travel to a tropical island and split into two tribes. There, they will compete against each other, not just for rewards but immunity from elimination. The eliminations will see contestants voted out one by one until there's one person left in each tribe, and those two will compete for the £100,000 prize.
The action will unfold over 16 episodes, running an hour long each.

"Survivor is a global television hit and to be able to bring one of TV's most successful formats to audiences in the UK in a uniquely BBC way is a very exciting prospect indeed," Director of Unscripted at the BBC Kate Phillips said in a statement.
Natalka Znak, CEO of Remarkable Entertainment, added: "Survivor is 'the greatest gameshow on earth' for a reason – it has everything – reality, adventure, drama, and the ultimate game. I can't wait to be boots on the ground, working with Paul Osborne, Stephen Lovelock and the fantastic team at Remarkable to make this epic series for the BBC."
While Survivor is huge in the US, it only aired two series in the UK in the early 2000s. Last year, when the revival was rumoured, we at Digital Spy argued why it's the perfect time to bring it back.
Survivor begins on BBC One and iPlayer on October 28.
