Suzanne: "How come I'm such a bitch?"

5 May - Taiwan actress Suzanne Siu went behind bars yesterday for the second time and is paying the price again for her drug-related offences, according to Apple Daily.

The jail term is one year and seven months but with good behaviour she might be released on probation in March 2012 the earliest.

The 34-year-old Siu (other aliases Suzanne Siu Suk-San, Lily Siu, Suzanne Xiao Shu-Shen, Hsiao Shu-Shen, Cecelia Hsiao, Siu Sou-San and Suzanne Hsiao) was viewed as a shining star when she first entered showbiz at the age of 21.

However, the "March of Happiness" (1999) and "Never Compromise" (1999) star has been caught using drugs as many as three times since 2006, when after testing positive for cocaine, Hsiao was found guilty of using drugs and sentenced to one year and seven months in jail and four years' probation.

Suzanne admitted that after being released from rehabilitation for the first time in 2007, she didn't even consider kicking the habit.

"Other people who take drugs never get caught. Why does it have to be me? So I just abandoned myself to vice," she said in a recent interview.

Asked to identify her biggest weakness, she said: "How come I'm such a bitch!".

She vowed to let the public see a born-again Suzanne after she gets out of jail.
