T.J. Holmes’ Daughter Graduates from 5th Grade in Cute Post from Ex-Wife Marilee Fiebig: ‘Choked Up’

T.J. Holmes’ baby girl is growing up!

On Thursday, June 20, the journalist’s ex-wife Marilee Fiebig announced that their 11-year-old daughter Sabine had graduated from 5th grade in a sweet Instagram post.

Sharing a mother-daughter snap, Fiebig — who finalized her divorce from Holmes, 46, in October 2023 — revealed that Sabine was a “soon-to-be middle schooler."

“Congrats to all the graduates, including my soon-to-be middle schooler (who also will be taller than me before summer’s end 😭),” her caption read. “I have nothing smart or wise to say…chapters like these are for celebrating, crying and letting go but I’ve been choked up all week.”

The lawyer continued, “What I will say is that middle school and beyond, I’ll continue to follow her morning walk to school, but far enough behind so if she turns to see if I’m following, I have time to jump behind cars and bushes. 😂🤣 #Sabine.”

In the snap, Fiebig displayed a beaming smile as she sported a long red dress, while Sabine wore blue as she posed beside her mother.

The proud mom then shared more snaps of the moment on her Instagram Stories.

“I told her to look happy (then we fought about lipgloss). #preteen #5thgradegraduation,” she wrote across a photo of her grinning while Sabine stuck her tongue out.

She then shared more photos of the 5th-grade graduate with her pals.

While Holmes — who also shares daughter Brianna and son Jaiden with first wife Amy Ferson — didn't share the news of his daughter’s graduation on his social media, he’s no stranger to posting snaps of Sabine.

Back in April, he shared a carousel post of her running on the beach and posing on different chairs.

“Spring Break Bean is the best Bean. #BabySabine #daconchshack,” he wrote at the time.

He also shared a video of her making a wish before blowing out the candles on her birthday cake for her 11th birthday in January.

His daughter’s recent milestone comes after Holmes revealed that he never expected to fall in love with his girlfriend and former GMA3 host Amy Robach.

"We didn't mean to fall in love. We didn't expect to fall in love. We didn't even realize we were falling in love,” he said during an episode of their Amy & T.J. podcast filmed live in New York City on June 10.

“Given all that was on the line, you could even argue, we didn't want to fall in love, which seems like an odd thing to say about the woman you're sitting on stage with that you claim to be in love with," he added.

"It wasn't what we were planning for, but it happened. It did."

Robach, whose relationship with Holmes was made public in 2022, shares two daughters, Ava and Annalise, with her ex-husband Tim McIntosh.
