T.I. Shares the Music Advice He Gave Daughter Heiress, 8, Ahead of Her 2024 BET Awards Performance (Exclusive)

T.I. and daughter Heiress HarrisT.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris's daughter Heiress stole the spotlight at the 2024 BET Awards.
As the 8-year-old daughter of rapper T.I., 43, and Tiny, 48, strutted down the red carpet alongside her rapper dad before performing her song "Be You" at the ceremony on Sunday, June 30, Heiress spoke to PEOPLE about her excitement for the big night.
"I feel really, really happy,” she shared outside the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles while wearing a bedazzled leather jacket and silver rhinestoned T-shirt.

Asked about the best piece of advice she's received from her parents as she pursues a music career, the "Be You" singer motioned her father over.
"I just told her to focus and work hard and just told her how treacherous the game could be. So don't expect everything to go her way," the proud dad told PEOPLE.
"She's definitely worked hard since she has decided that this is what she wanted to do," he continued. "She's been working hard, but she's been singing probably before she could talk.

T.I. and Tiny have a large blended family, complete with seven kids: Zonnique, 28, Messiah, 23, Domani, 22, Deyjah, 22, King, 18, Major, 16, and Heiress.
Last summer, Tiny shared an adorable photo to her Instagram Story of her daughter Heiress before the pair attended Beyoncé's Renaissance tour. Heiress rocked blue hair and a graphic white T-shirt, striking a pose for the camera.
"Beyonce ready!!! My ☀️ @heiressdharris 💜," the proud mom wrote across the photo.
