Taskmaster New Year's Treat 2024 spoilers follow.

Taskmaster has crowned Lenny Rush as the winner of its 2024 New Year special.

The New Year's Treat for 2024 aired on Tuesday (January 2), with Greg Davies and Lil' Alex Horne putting a new group of celebrity competitors to the test.

This holiday special featured musician Kojey Radical, actor Lenny Rush, naturalist Steve Backshall, radio and television presenter Zoe Ball and Dragons' Den star Deborah Meaden.

Lenny and Kojey finished strong in the prize task with five points each, as Greg couldn't decide between their two submissions (six robot dogs doing a synchronised dance and a bunch of contraband).

Next, the contestants had to deliver a combination of compliments and insults to Alex without using certain letters, all while trying to scarf down as many Papadams as they could.

"Alex is meaner than I thought," Deborah mentioned, while Steve added: "Alex, you will always be a sidekick."

Zoe complained that Alex looked "sweaty and hairy", while Lenny simply pointed to the co-host and dismissed him for being "odd" and a "pig". Kojey decided to force-feed the Papadams to Alex because he'd "put anything" in his mouth.

Back in the studio, Greg chuckled as he revealed he "knew for a fact" Steve's insult actually hurt Alex's feelings. Deborah won the round overall and received five points.

The timed task involved the contestants having to draw a picture of themselves eating a fruit on a tablet without using their hands.

A pop-up task challenged the contestants to coordinate a variety of pops, including toasting bread, chewing gum and blowing up a balloon. Deborah struggled here as she thought the toaster would respond to verbal commands.

Steve finished first, leaving him tied with Kojey for first heading into the live task. Here, the contestants had to judge whether items could fit through various shaped holes (including forcing Alex through a mini cut-0ut of himself).

Steve was in a very close second place with 18 points, Kojey finished in third with 14 points and Zoe tied with Deborah for last place with 13 points.

Happy New Year, Lenny!
