Taylor Swift loves nothing more than to support her besties—and earlier this week, she did just that, making a very quiet trip to London to watch her friend, Cara Delevingne, take to the stage in a production of the musical Cabaret.

Arthur Jones, the Head of Marketing for the production, confirmed the news of Swift's attendance at the show after reports began to spread on social media. "Taylor Swift?? Was supporting Cara Delevingne?? At Cabaret?? TONIGHT??!!" one fan wrote. "Can confirm. A special night @kitkatclubldn," Jones replied. Another fan asked if Swift had stayed for the entire performance, to which Jones replied with a thumbs up emoji.

The model and actress took over the role of Sally Bowles in the semi-immersive West End production back on March 11. "There are no words to explain the excitement I have to return home to make my stage debut in such an iconic role," she said when her casting was announced. Swift managed to catch Delevingne's second last show on May 31—Delevingne took to the stage for the final time the following night on June 1.

Swift and Delevingnge's friendship goes way back—Delevingne was, of course, an OG member of Swift's infamous "girl squad," an inseparable gang of It girls that ruled the streets of New York City circa 2015 and appeared in Swift's "Bad Blood" music video.

Swift may have moved on from that particular era, but her friendship with Delevingne is clearly still going as strong as ever. Back in 2019, Delevingne praised her friend for her decision to re-record her old albums. “She’s one of those women who is just relentless, endless fire, not biting to draw blood, but biting when you need to bite.” Delevingne said to Entertainment Tonight. “You need to stand up for yourself… you’re defending yourself and being who you are and that’s what I love about her."

More recently, Delevingne has given her stamp of approval on Swift's relationship with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce. "I'm so, so happy for her," she said to E! News last year. "There's definitely something very different about them."

Swift fit her trip to London in between her Eras Tour dates, having just played two shows in Madrid before taking the show to Lyon, France on June 2.
