Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce ‘very in love’ as Super Bowl looms
Regardless of what happens at the Super Bowl, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are going home champions as sources say they’ve won each other’s hearts.
The 12-time Grammy winner and two-time Super Bowl champ, both 34, are “very in love,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight. The outlet added Swift is “super proud” of her tight-end boyfriend after his Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens Sunday, ensuring their spot in Super Bowl LVIII.
The A-list lovers are “so excited” about the upcoming showdown between the Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas on Feb. 11.
A clip shared by the NFL from the aftermath of the Chiefs’ AFC Championship victory shows Kelce striding toward Swift on the field, saying: “Tay, I’m going to enjoy with the guys. I love you.”
They kiss, and a teary-eyed Kelce seems to say, “…So much it’s not even funny.”
“I love you, too,” says Swift. “I’ve never been so proud. Ever.”
“It was the best night ever,” a source close to the happy couple told People, noting Kelce’s “whole family was so, so excited and riding a high.”
Of Swift and Kelce, the insider added: “It’s obvious, isn’t it? They’re genuinely happy together.”
“She’s there to support him and cheer him on, and she’s fit in seamlessly with everyone he loves,” the source continued, noting that Kelce’s family doesn’t “see her as ‘Taylor Swift’ the superstar.”
Whether Swift will be in the stands to cheer on Kelce in person is still unclear. She’ll be in the midst of the international leg of her historic Eras Tour — with the Super Bowl falling just in between Swift’s Tokyo and Melbourne, Australia, shows.
Though the 17- and 19-hour respective time differences make it physically possible for the “peace” singer to attend, the jury’s out on whether she’ll brave that much jet lag between shows.
