“Teen Mom” Star Amber Portwood's Partner Gary Wayt Spotted in Oklahoma amid Disappearance: Authorities

Gary Wayt was reported missing on June 11, two days after he and Portwood had an "emotional" talk and he left the house

Hours after Amber Portwood spoke out about her missing fiancé Gary Wayt, authorities say he has been spotted.

Video footage has been obtained showing Wayt, 39, on June 11 in Oklahoma, over 900 miles away from where he was last seen in North Carolina, police confirmed to PEOPLE.

He was first reported missing by the Bryson City Police Department on June 11 after the Teen Mom star stated the couple had a “discussion” on June 9 and Wayt left the house, never coming back.

On the same day that police say Wayt was sighted, Portwood, 34, joined a YouTube livestream to discuss the situation, calling it a “huge deal” and emphasizing her concern. "His parents, everybody is very worried. I am worried," Portwood said. "We are very scared right now."

She claimed Wayt was last seen “on camera” and “alone” at a local “Walgreens.”

“That is all we know,” she added.

While rumors swirled that the couple had gotten in an argument preceding Wayt’s disappearance, Portwood refuted those claims, saying there "was not a big blowout fight or anything like that."

She did admit they had a “discussion,” but said it was not “heated or anything.”

"It was emotional because it had something to do with the fact of his parents being Vietnamese and me being who I am," Portwood explained. "He was very upset about this, I was upset. We do not yell at each other, we do not hurt each other."

Although she said he “took his keys and he took his wallet,” Portwood reported that Wayt “did not take his phone” when he left the house.

"We are very in love — this man asked me to be with him, this man then asked me to marry him,” she said, continuing: "Please, if anybody sees him or hears anything, please, I am begging all of you guys."

"I am praying for anybody that sees him. Nobody has found him or heard from him yet."

According to the police department's post, Wayt weighs 205 lbs., is bald and has brown eyes. Authorities also noted that he owns a grey 2009 Nissan Rogue SUV, and encouraged anyone with information on Wayt's whereabouts to contact the police department at 828-488-2196.
