Two teenage boys who died after a collision on the A17 in Lincolnshire have been named.

The families of 17-year-old William Ray, known as Will, and 18-year-old Eddie Shore have released their pictures.

Lincolnshire Police said enquiries into the collision at North Rauceby on 20 June are ongoing, and have asked people "not to speculate" on the circumstances.

Both families have asked for privacy while they come to terms with their loss.

The pair died when the car they were travelling in collided with another vehicle.

Two other passengers in the car suffered serious injuries and were taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.

On Monday, tributes were paid to the boys by Carre's Grammar School in Sleaford.

The pair were described as "lovely lads" by headteacher Nick Law.

He said their deaths had "really rocked the whole community".

Police investigating the collision have appealed for anyone with dashcam footage, or who was in the area at the time, to get in touch.
