So You Think You Can Dance season 11 finalist Rudy Abreu is facing accusations of sexual misconduct with a 14-year-old.

In a TikTok video that has garnered over 1.5 million views as of May 16, 22-year-old dancer Charley Bennett alleged concerning details about her experience as an assistant at a touring dance convention where Abreu worked as an instructor. The then-14-year-old Bennett stated that she had admired the SYTYCD alum since his stint on the show. Over time, Abreu “slowly began to bond with all the assistants,” who ranged from ages 8 to 18.

“His way of bonding, I guess, was following us on Instagram, Snapchat and all of our Finstas [fake Instagrams] at the time,” Bennett recalled. “He was on So You Think You Can Dance, he was dancing with JLo and he was following us on Instagram, and that was cool. We thought he was a cool mentor and a cool teacher, and that’s how boundaries and lines get crossed really young.”

Bennett alleged that Abreu's interactions with her slowly progressed into a more sexual nature. While on tour with the convention, she claimed Abreu sent her a Snapchat message describing all the ways he wanted to undress her “in detail.”

He later allegedly sent her a full-body nude picture of himself in an airplane bathroom and asked for one in return, to which she complied because she “did not know what would happen” if she didn’t. Another alleged incident occurred when Bennett said Abreu insisted she look at a hole in his shorts, where the tip of his penis stuck out.

“He asks me to look at that before he puts it away,” Bennett claimed.

PEOPLE has reached out to Abreu’s agency Go2Talent for comment, and has received no response.

After Bennett turned 15, she and three friends flew to Los Angeles to assist Abreu with a dance. She says she landed a night before her friends and stayed at Abreu’s apartment, where he lived with his girlfriend of two years at the time.

She claimed he offered her weed and alcohol and touched her inappropriately. Before the night ended, Bennett said he allegedly told her “it’s time to go to bed, because he just can’t contain himself.” Then, he allegedly groped her in a hug three times.

“I distanced myself, I think, after this interaction,” she said. “I felt gross that his girlfriend wasn’t there, and that now he was touching me and it was just making me really uncomfortable.”

The last time they saw each other, Abreu allegedly said in a large group of people in reference to Bennett, “Gosh, I can’t wait until she’s 18.”

Bennett, who has since worked with Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty clothing line, concluded the TikTok saying, “I hope this video brings awareness to how things can slowly evolve and happen, and in no way should he be working on dancing.”

To Abreu, she added: “Rudy, this is not to ruin your life. You ruined your life on your own by doing all this to a child. And so I wish nothing good for you.”

Abreu was a contestant on season 11 of So You Think You Can Dance in 2014. Since then, he has appeared on World of Dance and worked with musicians including Bebe Rexha, J Balvin and Peso Pluma, according to The Hollywood Reporter, who cited his online resumes and social media posts.

Bennett has previously shared the story of her experiences within the dance community. In 2020, she claims to have spoken to Abreu’s representatives at McDonald Selznick Associates, per THR. The agency no longer represents Abreu, and McDonald Selznick Associates did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
