Created by Bailey, who wrote the pilot episode, The Hunting Party is a high-concept crime procedural about a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist.

Picked up to series in February, The Hunting Party stars Melissa Roxburgh, Patrick Sabongui, Sara Garcia, Josh McKenzie and Nick Wechsler. Kyra Leroux recurs.

The Hunting Party is executive produced by Bailey and Jake Coburn who are writing and co-showrunning together. Freudenthal serves as producer. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio.

Freudenthal also has directed pilots for Carnival Row (Amazon/Legendary), The Therapy for Amazon Germany, and The Death of Eva Sofia Valdez for ABC. On the episodic front, Freudenthal recently directed The Bondsman for Amazon, as well as The Tick for Amazon and The Expanse for Syfy. On the film side, Freudenthal directed Words on Bathroom Walls for LD Entertainment, Percy Jackson:  Sea of Monsters for Fox, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, also for Fox.
