TikTok Star Sabrina Brier to Release Audiobook ‘That Friend’ in 2025 (EXCLUSIVE)
TikTok star Sabrina Brier is writing and narrating an audiobook, titled “That Friend,” which will be released by Simon & Schuster in early 2025.
Described as “singular and hilarious,” “That Friend” follows an aspiring NYC influencer whose advice podcast takes off while her actual life falls apart. According to the press release, the story will explore “painfully relatable” relationship dynamics — and what it means to be young and fabulous in New York City. It will launch on Jan. 28, 2025.

It really appealed to me to work in a format that moves with you as you go about your day. The whole premise of ‘That Friend’ is really about the listener and the shared experience of being able to laugh at the complexity and intensity of loving other people.”
Simon & Schuster Audio’s president and publisher Chris Lynch called Brier a “groundbreaking talent.”

“That Friend” adds to Simon & Schuster Audio’s original audiobook offerings including Bob Woodward’s “The Trump Tapes,” Julie Chen Moonves’ ‘But First God” and Lucinda Berry’s “One of Our Own.”
Brier is known for her popular TikToks where she channels characters like “that friend who hates when you don’t take her dating advice,” “wedding guest who dated the groom in high school” and “that friend who is always involved.” Brier was named to Variety’s New York Power list and guest starred on “Abbot Elementary” in its third season. She is repped by CAA, Door 24 and attorney Melissa Fox.
