Judge Juan Merchan announced Tuesday that he is pushing back the sentencing date for Donald Trump in the New York hush money case until Sept. 18 in order to have time to decide whether to toss out the conviction following the Supreme Court's ruling on presidential immunity. Trump had been scheduled to be sentenced on July 11.
Trump — the GOP’s presumptive nominee for president — is facing four criminal cases altogether. He is the first former American president to be convicted of a crime.
