Timothée Chalamet Leads Top Two Titles Consumers Are Most Excited About — For Second Week in a Row

What are the entertainment offerings that consumers are most excited about? It’s a question that marketers, distributors, advertisers and media publications are always asking.

ScreenShare, a data partnership between Screen Engine/ASI and TheWrap, tracks the Top 10 most-mentioned entertainment items every week along with whether each has gained or lost momentum versus the prior week. The chart lives on the Data & Analysis page of the WrapPRO Members Hub.

This week, “Dune: Part Two” continues its reign at No. 1 on the list, pulling even further ahead of other titles. The last film to have such an impressive number of mentions was the 2023 summer hit “Barbie.”

Another Warner Bros. hit starring Timothée Chalamet claims No. 2 with “Wonka” holding its position as it streams on Max. Meanwhile, “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “Kung Fu Panda 4” inch closer to the top of the list. “Avatar” is entering its third week on Netflix and has been renewed for two additional seasons, while “Kung Fu Panda 4” is off to a great start at the box office, landing in the Top 5.

Fan favorite “Yellowstone” returns to the list as it prepares to air part two of its fifth and final season in November. FX’s limited series “Shōgun,” simultaneously streaming on Hulu and Disney+, joins the list following the premiere of its first two episodes on Feb. 27. Newcomer “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” starring Paul Rudd and featuring franchise icons Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson, rounds out the Top 10 as it approaches its March 22 release.
