Tommy Leung to direct "Triumph" movie
9 Dec – After 40 years of working at TVB, it was recently revealed that producer Tommy Leung has recently received the long term service gold medal and has been reassigned to Shaw as a senior consultant.
According to a report on Dayoo, Tommy's first assignment in Shaw is to direct his very first movie, which is also the movie version of TVB's highest rated series of 2013, "Triumph in the Skies".
The movie, which is to begin filming in April next year, will be filmed in several locations including Europe, Shanghai, China and Hong Kong.
In addition to its original cast Francis Ng and Julian Cheung, the movie version will also star "The White Storm" actor, Louis Koo, who will play the role of a pilot.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Chinese beauty Gao Yuanyuan and Taiwanese model Lin Chi-ling may also join the cast as flight attendants.
