Tommy Leung is supportive of daughter's divorce decision
5 Feb – TVB producer Tommy Leung admits that he is heartbroken that his daughter Toby Leung's marriage crumbled, but stressed that he will keep on supporting her.
Oriental Daily reported that the producer recently accepted an interview and expressed, "I am sad that Toby and Aaron have called it quits, but I realised that young couples have their own way of handling their relationship problems."
"I can only accept that this is the fact," said Tommy, adding that he can't meddle in his daughter's marriage as much as their decision to separate.
"As a parent, who would not be worried about their children's happiness? But I have talked to my son-in-law before and talked to them about tolerance in marriage. But unfortunately, they both realised that they are just too different and their lifestyles don't match," said Tommy.
When asked if Toby and Aaron ended their marriage because they had no time for each other, Tommy said, "My son-in-law is usually busy with his business in mainland China, and so is Toby."
Tommy revealed that Toby had since moved back with him and his wife, but added that the actress has also rented another place for use whenever she has to work late and doesn't want to disturb her parents.
