Tong Liya annoyed by Jerry's fans
3 Apr – Jerry Yan's popularity may have caused nuisance for his new drama co-star, Tong Liya.
As reported on Asianpopnews website, Jerry recently accepted a new mainland drama, "Unforgettable Love" and has begun filming in China. However, the popular actor seemed to have attracted flocks of fans to the filming location, thus causing problems on set.
It was reported that with fans surrounding the area, filming was often interrupted and affecting the progress of the drama.
The problem seemed to annoy Tong Liya the most, as she allegedly would often shout with her assistant to Jerry's fans, "We are filming. Stop looking! Please make way."
Meanwhile, in "Unforgettable Love", Jerry plays a rich man who, after having a one night stand with a woman, finds out that he has a son after seven years – leading to a custody battle with the woman. However, he later finds himself falling in love with her.
It was rumoured that the actor, who sports a clean cut look in the new drama, was paid RMB500,000 for each episode.
