Tony Hung replaces Raymond in "Cheung Po Tsai"

9 Sep – It was revealed that Tony Hung will be replacing Raymond Wong for the lead role in TVB's upcoming big-budget series, "Cheung Po Tsai".

According to On CC News, the replacement was made after Raymond Wong, who earlier complained of recurring fevers, was recently diagnosed with Behcet's Disease.

Behcet's Disease, also called Behcet's Syndrome, is a rare disorder that causes inflammation in blood vessels throughout the sufferer's body. Though it has no cure, it can be controlled with treatment, which Raymond has chosen to do and decided to step down from his role.

TVB Executive Catherine Tsang stated that Tony has already cancelled his New Zealand trip in order to work for the movie, which will begin its principal photography in mid-September.

Meanwhile, the series' producer Leung Choi Yuen stated that some scenes involving Tony's character will be revised, as the actor has a different style and persona than Raymond.
