Reality stars Carly Lawrence and Bennett Sipes are ending their marriage two years after tying the knot.

The Too Hot to Handle alum, 26, filed for divorce from Love Island’s Sipes, 29, citing “irreconcilable differences” in the Los Angeles Courts on Monday, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE. She cited their date of separation as June 7, just three days prior to the filing.

Lawrence is petitioning to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support to either of them, and documents show she claims they have no joint assets to divide up.

The couple got married in May 2022 after meeting only a few months earlier, PEOPLE previously reported. "They do truly love each other," a source told PEOPLE at the time.

The two both found love through the dating shows they were on, but their relationships ended not long before they met.

Lawrence debuted on season 2 of Netflix's Too Hot to Handle where she struck up a romance with Joey Joy. In August 2021, she revealed that they broke up and claimed Joy cheated on her, according to Screen Rant.

Sipes appeared on season 2 of the U.S. version of Love Island in 2020 and previously dated season 3 star Leslie Golden. In November 2021, Golden revealed the pair broke up in a TikTok video.

During their relationship, Sipes called Lawrence his "soulmate" on social media. "Never used the word soulmate until we found each other," he wrote in a post in January 2022.

Their most recent post together was on Sipes’ Instagram in December 2023 when the couple celebrated their two-year anniversary. In a sweet post of them hugging as they cuddled their dog Luna, Sipes professed his love for his then-wife.

“2 years with my other (better) half ❤️‍🔥,” the caption read. “Here’s to the most amazing woman, my best friend, my wife. My life. My lil fairy angel girl. I love you so friggin’ much, Carlz. Me & Luna wouldn’t be us w/o YOU 🥹”
