‘Tore’ Creator & Star William Spetz Signs With TFC Management

EXCLUSIVE: William Spetz, writer, creator and star of the critically acclaimed Swedish series Tore, has signed with TFC Management.

Tore, which is currently streaming on Netflix, follows the magnetic yet troubled main character of the same name as he finds himself suddenly catapulted into a very new and adult world of sex, drugs, and drinking as a means of actively avoiding tremendous grief. The show was recently nominated for a 2024 GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding New Series and Spetz has received rave reviews for his performance.

Spetz started his career when he was 15 years old, posting comedic videos on YouTube that revolved around his experiences, observations, and satirical takes on everyday life. In 2016, he was nominated for a Rising Star award at the Stockholm International Film Festival. Since then, he has starred in films and television series such as Filip and Mona, which he also co-wrote. He also starred in Netflix’s first Swedish original series, Quicksand, which premiered at the 2019 Berlin Film Festival. His film credits include Mini-Zlatan and Uncle Darling and Day by Day.

In addition to his work in film and television, Spetz is also an accomplished playwright and stage actor. He trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater in New York City and most recently starred in The Outmost Minute at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm.

William continues to be represented by Peter Jansson at Artist Gruppen.
