Tori Spelling Has Taken a 'Pause' to Affirm the 'Badass' She's Become: 'Eye on the Prize'
The 'Beverly Hills, 90210' alum's husband Dean McDermott announced their split in a May Instagram post he later deleted — though a source told PEOPLE that he was being "100 percent serious"
Tori Spelling is taking stock amid her separation from Dean McDermott, reflecting on how far she's come — and where she's going next.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum shared a photo on Instagram Wednesday showing herself surrounded by nature as she flashed her bicep tattoo that says "Tout mon coeur, tout ma vie," which translates to "My whole heart, my whole life." Spelling got the ink back in 2016 at Tin Tin Tattoo Parlor in Paris with McDermott by her side.
On her post this week, the sTORI Telling author wrote, "I believe in always looking forward and keeping your eye on the prize … But, this morning I took a pause for self reflection," she wrote. "It's important to look back once in awhile and remind yourself how far you’ve come and what a badass you truly are. #strength #liveinthemoment 🙋🏼♀️"

Spelling, 50, and McDermott, 56, had been married since 2006. They share five kids: daughters Stella, 15, and Hattie, 12, and sons Liam, 16, Finn, 11, and Beau, 6.
In May, McDermott announced the pair's split on Instagram but later deleted the post. "It's with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own," he wrote at the time.
"We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time. We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this," he added. "Thank you all for your support and kindness. 🙏”

A source told PEOPLE at the time that, despite pulling the post, McDermott was "100 percent serious" about the pair's 17-year marriage being over.
Both actors appear to already be moving on with other people. He was photographed holding hands with Lily Calo, a senior account executive at Conscious Community Global, while out in Los Angeles last month. They were later spotted kissing while at Los Angeles International Airport.
And Spelling recently stepped out with a man named Ryan Cramer, who is the CEO of Santa Monica-based agency Neuron Syndicate Inc. The two were seen kissing in downtown Los Angeles.
