Tottenham XI vs Newcastle: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup, latest injuries for Premier League game

Sergio Reguilon is in line for his Tottenham debut against Newcastle after training with the team for the first time on Friday.

Jose Mourinho refused to be drawn on whether the Spain left-back would start following Thursday's Europa League win over Shkendija but the Portuguese is generally gung-ho about introducing new signings.

Mourinho is expected to recall Matt Doherty, Eric Dier, Moussa Sissoko, Giovani Lo Celso, Lucas Moura and Harry Kane after resting them for the win in North Macedonia but Dele Alli could drop out after being hooked in the second-half in Skopje.

Mourinho must decide whether to hand Tanguy Ndombele a third consecutive start after the Frenchman impressed – and earned praise from his manager – on his first 90-minute outing this year.

With Chelsea to come in the Carabao Cup just 48 hours later, it would be no slight to leave Ndombele on the bench and continue with Harry Winks. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is a doubt with an ankle injury that kept him out of Thursday's game.
