Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton & Morgan Wallen Among Country Music Stars Added To CBS’ ‘New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash’

CBS is adding to its New Year’s Eve country music bonanza.

The network is ringing in the new year again with Nashville’s Big Bash, which will air for five hours on December 31.

New performers include Trace Adkins, Grace Bowers, Kane Brown, Jackson Dean, HARDY, Cody Johnson, Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, Brothers Osborne, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Blake Shelton, Trombone Shorty, Morgan Wallen and Bailey Zimmerman.

They join previously announced performers Old Dominion, Elle King, Thomas Rhett, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Lainey Wilson.

The annual event features nearly 50 performances from locations across the city, including the mainstage in Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. The broadcast will cross multiple time zones, with the traditional countdown at midnight ET, culminating with the renowned Nashville music note drop and fireworks at midnight CT. Past performers include Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Sheryl Crow and Miranda Lambert, among others.

It will be hosted by Elle King and Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith with Cody Alan and CBS anchor Lonnie Quinn corresponding from New York City’s Times Square, along with Dustin Lynch, who will also be performing live.

New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash is executive produced by Robert Deaton and Mary Hilliard Harrington in partnership with the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp. The special will be directed by Sandra Restrepo.
