“The Traitors” season 2 trailer shows Parvati and Sandra facing off

And guess who tells Peter Weber, “This is not 'The Bachelor,' and I don’t have to kiss your ass for a rose”?

If you were waiting to set a countdown clock to when you could experience round three of Survivor legends Parvati Shallow vs. Sandra Diaz-Twine, or the reunion of Big Brother luminaries Dan Gheesling and Janelle Pierzina, or just seeing what happens when you put Peppermint (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Peter Weber (The Bachelor), and Maksim Chmerkovskiy (Dancing With the Stars) in a Scottish castle with a groundskeeper named Fergus, that clock can now be set.

Peacock has announced the premiere date for season 2 of The Traitors, and that date is January 12. Three episodes will be released on that Friday at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, with weekly episodes following on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. But you don’t even have to wait until then to get your first season 2 taste of the reality competition series hosted by Alan Cumming that features Faithful voting out the people they think are Traitors, and Traitors “murdering” Faithful. That’s because in addition to that premiere date, we also have our first trailer and photos to obsess over.

And Survivor fans will certainly obsess. Because there in the trailer are Parvati and Sandra — two former champions who have sparred on social media after playing together twice — sharing a super awkward handshake, complete with a super fake Sandra smile. “The first signs of deception,” Sandra tells us, “I’m going to take care of her for once and for all.”

And the rekindling of that epic duel is not all. You also have Janelle casually sipping red wine, Johnny Bananas talking trash to the host, and Real Housewife Phaedra Parks telling Peter Weber, “This is not The Bachelor, and I don’t have to kiss your ass for a rose.”
