The Traitors series 2 sees two more players banished
The Traitors series 2, episode 4 spoilers follow.
The Traitors series 2 returned for its fourth episode after an agonising wait (even longer if you binged on iPlayer ahead of BBC One broadcast), resolving its nail-biting cliffhanger with another banishment.
Things left off with Faithful Brian and Traitor Ash facing the chop with six votes each, with Anthony getting the deciding vote. Tonight's (January 10) episode revealed he voted for Brian, who was banished and announced that he's the fourth Faithful to be eliminated.
"Faithfuls, you are doing the Traitors' work for them," stated a harsh but fair Claudia Winkleman.

While the Traitors avoided losing one of their own, all eyes were on Ash — and to save face, Paul and Harry voted to eliminate her, declaring in their confessionals that she was playing a weak game.
In the watchtower, there was a tense confrontation between Ash and her fellow Traitors, where she explained she was "f**king pissed off", but they managed to smooth things over... briefly.
Claudia soon entered the room and revealed that there would be no murder. Instead, they would condemn four people to spend the night in the dungeon and choose one of them to be murdered the following night.
While they couldn't condemn Zack and Jasmine due to their shield immunity, they could condemn themselves to try to take the heat off them. However, in the daytime, the players would have a chance to save one of them.

In the end, they went with Paul and Ash, as well as accusatory Faithful Andrew and Megan, who has aroused some suspicion due to her quiet nature.
While Ash thought it was her chance to 'prove' she was a Faithful, Paul secretly is still planning to get rid of Ash. At breakfast, the other players instantly felt like Ash was a Traitor making a deliberate move, as Paul planned on, but people also started to openly suspect Paul as a Traitor himself.
Although the condemned were being kept in isolation in the dungeon for the day, Claudia revealed that they'd be let out for the Round Table, meaning that there was another banishment and a murder.

An outdoor task saw the players add £5,300 to the final prize pot, but more critically, the Red Team (which Harry and Miles were not on) got to decide which condemned player to save. They went with Andrew, putting a spanner in The Traitors' plan.
At the Round Table, it didn't take long for accusations to come Paul's way due to his confidence, but he tried to deflect by stating that confident Faithfuls have been eliminated before. Harry took the initiative to throw Ash under the bus again, which Paul jumped on.
In the end, Ash received an overwhelming majority of the votes and became the first Traitor to be banished... although the show cut to credits before she revealed it to the players.
Will she lie and stir things up? And who will the three remaining Traitors kill next?
The Traitors airs Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights at 9pm on BBC One and streamed on iPlayer.
