The Traitors star makes prize money revelation on First Dates

The Traitors season one star Aaron Evans has revealed what he did with his prize money while appearing on another reality TV show.

Aaron appeared on Tuesday's (February 6) episode of Channel 4's First Dates, where he was paired with student Laura.

Speaking to bartender Merlin Griffiths before his date, Aaron revealed what he did with the £101,050 prize pot he split with fellow Faithfuls Meryl Williams and Hannah Byczkowski.

"I got to the final and won like £33 grand," Aaron said. "I ended up giving the money to my mum anyway.

"Well, I gave her the £33 grand and then asked for three grand back because I was skint."

Once it came time for Aaron's date with Laura, it was revealed that Laura had no idea about Aaron's reality TV show past. She was baffled when a fellow diner asked him for a selfie during their date.

When Laura, who had previously been told Aaron looked like Brad Pitt, asked why he was being approached for a picture, Aaron coyly replied: "Brad Pitt."

On X (formerly Twitter), fans were happy to see Aaron back on their screens. One viewer said: "Lovely to see Aaron is still a total gem. Such a lovely guy!"

Another added: "Aaron [from The] Traitors is such a sweet boy. Good for him!"

Meanwhile, Harry Clark, the most recent winner of The Traitors, is currently enjoying his prize money.

Traitor Harry scooped the entire £95,ooo prize pot on the BBC show after successfully tricking the Faithfuls (well, Mollie) into believing he was one of them.

Earlier this week, Harry took to Instagram to share he had fulfilled his "childhood dream" with a trip to Chelsea Football Club's ground Stamford Bridge.

"Childhood dream come true. Thank you everyone, " Harry wrote in the caption of his Instagram post, along with some blue heart emojis.

First Dates airs on Channel 4.
