Travis Kelce’s jersey sales are continuing to soar, and he’s giving credit where he believes it's due.

On Wednesday’s episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce shared that the brothers have the “No. 1 and No. 2 top-selling jerseys in the U.K.,” and the Philadelphia Eagles center had a certain group of fans in particular to thank.

After both he and Travis, 34, agreed that it “doesn’t make any sense” that their jerseys are dominating across the pond, Jason, 36, asked, “Lotta Swifties over there in the U.K.?”

“It’s gotta be — it’s the only reasonable solution to all this,” Travis replied, admitting that he was also thinking that his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was to thank for the sales.

Jason continued, “I think I’m only No. 2 because I think a lot of people in the U.K. maybe just don’t watch football and they’re like, ‘Oh, I heard this Kelce guy dates Taylor Swift,’ and they just buy my jersey on accident.”

“Shoutout to Taylor,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end piped in, before giving credit to Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, too, whom he said was really responsible for his brother's jersey sales.

“They’re all Kylie Kelce fans. So they’re supporting Kylie, of course,” Travis said.

Since his and Swift’s romance first went public in September, and immediately after she made her first appearance at a Chiefs game, Travis has seen a huge spike in interest around his career — and his jersey sales nationally.

A Fanatics spokesperson confirmed to PEOPLE in September that the athlete “saw a nearly 400% spike in sales” of his jerseys, just one day after Swift, 34, watched the Chiefs defeat the Chicago Bears alongside the brothers' mom Donna Kelce. The sales secured Travis a spot amongst “the top 5 selling NFL players,” per the spokesperson.

The same is true for the NFL. The league has embraced the newfound global attention they’ve gotten as a result of the 12-time Grammy winner’s presence at so many Chiefs games this fall.

But Travis hasn’t always been a fan of the spotlight. In October, he admitted he felt the league was “overdoing it a little bit” in terms of their coverage of Swift’s attendance at Chiefs games, but the NFL told PEOPLE that the couple “has been a pop cultural moment we’ve leaned into in real time, as it’s an intersection of sport and entertainment.”

The league added that the romance has led to “an incredible amount of positivity around the sport.”

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell shared his opinions on the relationship, too, as he told CBS Mornings co-host Nathaniel Burleson last month that “it’s great for the league to have that kind of attention. So, we welcome it."

“They’re happy, they seem to be enjoying their relationship. That’s great, in and of itself," said Goodell, 64. "But it has connected more fans of Taylor’s and more fans of the NFL in some ways. Sort of, to see that they have a connection, now [fans] have a connection to our game and to Taylor.”

As for Swift herself, she admitted in her TIME Person of the Year cover story, “Football is awesome, it turns out," adding, “I’ve been missing out my whole life.”
