Travis Kelce may be headed down under to support his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, on her upcoming concert dates in Sydney, Australia, according to the NFL star's dad, Ed Kelce.
Ed told The Sydney Morning Herald that he spoke to Travis, 34, "after the Super Bowl," where his younger son's Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers to claim another NFL championship.
"I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen," Ed shared, noting that while Travis "said he'd really like to see Sydney and Singapore," the Chiefs tight end "wasn't sure because he has commitments."
Ed added that his son was currently participating in "a celebrity charity golf outing" on the day he spoke to the Herald, "which, I think, is in Las Vegas," he said.
Swift, 34, will perform four shows on her ongoing Eras Tour in Sydney, beginning Feb. 23 and ending on the 26th, at Accor Stadium. After that, she'll travel to Singapore for six sold-out shows at National Stadium, beginning March 2.
Ed also told the outlet about his first meeting with Swift.
“I was at Travis’ house, and I didn’t recognize her, my girlfriend was not impressed with me," he shared.
The NFL star's dad said he's grown close with Taylor's father, Scott Swift, and that the two bonded over their love for the NFL. “Scott played college football, so he was right into it. I think he likes that his daughter is dating a football player and not a musician,” Ed said.

He also praised Swift for being "probably the most famous person in the world," and yet, "so warm and gracious" in every meeting and at games.
“She loves football so much, and she sets a good example during games. I was so shocked that during the Super Bowl, my buddies and I left some rubbish near us, and when Taylor got up, she stopped and picked it all up and put it in the trash," Ed shared.

In October, Ed told PEOPLE a similar story about Swift offering to clean up in the suite. “We're sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can," Ed said.
“And I'm just thinking, I don't think she got the diva memo. She didn't get the spoiled musician. She doesn't know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot.”
In his interview with the Herald, Ed said he's confident that his son and Swift are a "good fit" for one another, despite their hectic schedules and high-profile relationship.
“I won’t pretend that I don’t worry about it, he is my son, and I worry about him because they will have some challenges in their relationship for sure,” Ed said. “But they seem a good fit, and ultimately, they just need to find their way together."
