Travis Kelce did not make it to Taylor Swift's first Eras Tour concert in Buenos Aires Thursday, instead showing support for his quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.

While Swift serenaded fans in Argentina, Travis attended Mahomes' third annual Mahomies Foundation Gala, which included an auction. The foundation shared a video of Travis at the event held at The Midland Theatre in Kansas City on Instagram.

Mahomes' foundation is "dedicated to improving the lives of children through initiatives that focus on health, wellness, underserved communities and other charitable causes," according to their website. It was established in 2019.

Travis still has an opportunity to see Swift perform in Argentina's capital city. She is performing there on Friday and Saturday.

During a recent episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast that he co-hosts with his older brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, the two hinted at Travis going “somewhere sunny.”

“Got anything you’re looking forward to going to?” Jason, 36, asked his younger brother — who had some time off from the field thanks to a bye week after the Chiefs’ win against the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt, Germany.

“I might just say f--- it and just go somewhere nice, I don’t know. My skin’s getting real pale so I gotta go somewhere sunny,” the tight end responded.

This prompted Jason to ask if this place with sunshine happened to be “closer to the equator.”

Others seemed to agree the getaway would do the pro athlete some good.

"I think the bye week is a great time to get away from football and I think that's the idea," Eli Manning told PEOPLE exclusively on Thursday. "It is the time to rest the body, rest the mind a little bit, recharge yourself to get ready for that second half of the season."

Swift and Travis have been spending a lot of time together since going public in mid-October.

The pair sparked dating rumors when the “Love Story” singer attended multiple Kansas City Chiefs games in September, but it wasn’t until the duo made a surprise appearance on the season 49 premiere of Saturday Night Live that they really sent Swifties into overdrive.

Once the show wrapped, a source told PEOPLE the two had a PDA-filled date night at an afterparty at Catch Steak.

The insider, who said the pair stayed at the party “until after 4 a.m.,” added that Travis was “touching her, putting his hand on her lower back or putting his hands on her waist and then they would do a little kiss.”

In late October, Travis and Taylor made it Instagram official — sort of.

The “You Belong With Me” songstress posed for a photo with her beau while kissing him on the cheek as they stood with his teammate Mecole Hardman Jr. and his girlfriend Chariah Gordon. The sweet snap made it to social media.

"I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her — the friends and family,” Travis previously said of her coming to his games.

"It's quickly turning more serious. They share a strong work ethic and have a huge appreciation for life and their careers, strong family bond and values," another source told PEOPLE in late October of Travis and Swift.
