Travis Kelce has an idea of what he wants to do after retiring from the NFL.

The Kansas City Chiefs player, 34, revealed during the latest episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce that he has his eyes set on becoming an NFL broadcaster after his time on the team.

“I want to broadcast when I'm done playing,” he shared.

When his brother asked him what he specifically “wanted to do” in broadcasting, Travis explained that he wanted to continue to be in the thick of football games, calling out the plays.

“I want to be right here and tell them about the game, the old ball coach, ladies and gentlemen,” Travis said while putting on a sports caller lilt to his voice, as Jason, 36, laughed.

“I want to do that,” he continued. “I wanna be the talking head that calls the games.”

The discussion began after Jason said that he would consider buying a minority stake in his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, after recent news broke that the team’s owner, Jeffrey Lurie, was exploring the sale, per CBS.

“Trav, should we try and buy some of it?” Jason asked. However, his brother noted that it was a tough thing to do, citing Tom Brady’s difficulty buying a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders due to it messing with his “TV deals.”

“I'll back out of the TV deal right now if you tell me I can own the Philadelphia Eagles,” Jason shared, adding, “[Getting] to be an owner? That's like another level.”

Travis said he “would rather try” and become “a minority stake owner in the Chiefs.” Though, the brothers both noted that they likely couldn’t “afford it” anyway.

The Chiefs tight end has already dipped his toes into the broadcast and entertainment world as he’s set to host Amazon Prime’s new show Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, act in Ryan Murphy's upcoming Grotesquerie and even hosted Saturday Night Live on NBC last year.

Following his SNL stint, Travis told PEOPLE that he's "definitely interested" in doing more acting and exploring Hollywood ventures after football.

"It was an experience that was like nothing else that I've ever gone through,” he said. “I just can't thank them enough for giving me that opportunity, because I didn't know I was going to enjoy scripted comedy, or that entire entertainment world as much as I did until I was on a set and going through the week of preparation and stuff like that.”

Despite all this work in entertainment, Travis has assured fans that he is still focused on football. "I'm every bit as motivated to get back and win another Super Bowl," he noted to Extra. "That'll always be my number one job until I retire."
