It wasn’t just the Boston Celtics that had people seeing green at TD Garden on Sunday night.
As the Celtics faced the Dallas Mavericks in Boston during Game 2 of the 2024 NBA Finals, rap star Travis Scott sat courtside wearing a fitting green and black colorway of his Jordan Jumpman Jack signature shoe.
The bold green hue dominated the shoe’s uppers, midsoles and outsoles, and black provided contrast throughout. A lighter shade of green was employed on the reverse Swoosh branding on the uppers.
Although the rapper had a pair laced up, there is no word if this colorway will arrive at retail.
There are, however, colorways of the Jordan Jumpman Jack — which the rapper has also called the CJ1 T-Rexx — that can be purchased now on the secondary market. For instance, the “University Red” colorway is available via StockX, with prices currently starting at $668. And the “Sail” colorway is on StockX now, with prices starting at $304.
After months of wearing different colorways and building anticipation for the shoe, the Jordan Jumpman Jack “Sail” — also referred to as “Sail and Dark Mocha” — finally debuted in February during a surprise release on the rapper’s website as he performed at the Grammys. A broader release of the shoe via the Snkrs app took place in April in full-family sizing.
