Two mobile phone shops in People's Park Complex blacklisted by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) have closed their businesses and given up their leases at the shopping complex.

In a statement released on Tuesday, CASE named the two shops as Mobile Alliance and Tele Infinity.

The owner of both shops applied to Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) to strike both businesses off the records, and the application was approved on November 16.

CASE and the Singapore Tourism Board had regularly blacklisted both phone shops on its consumer alert list of errant retailers.

CASE advises consumers with unresolved disputes against the two shops to file their complaints as soon as possible.
