U2 adds Philippines in 'The Joshua Tree Tour'
Grammy-award winning rock band U2 is “coming to rock you” in December!
The Irish quartet of Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen Jr, and Adam Clayton has announced that the band will perform in the Philippines for the first time on December 11 at the Philippine Arena.
The band’s frontman Bono posted a hand written message on U2’s official website to announce the concert.
U2 also announced the concert on its official Twitter account.

"Manila is a first," says Bono. "And that has everyone on their toes…. this has to be one of the great ones!"
"We really wanted to bring The Joshua Tree Tour to Asia," added Edge. "We'd always hoped that it would include a show in the Philippines and now we can finally say that we will see you in December... We are very excited".
The Philippine stop is part of "The Joshua Tree Tour" which will also swing by several countries in the region such as Singapore, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
