U.S. football fans clear snow from stadium seats

STORY: The game, initially scheduled for Sunday, was pushed back to Monday (January 15) after the massive snowstorm hit Buffalo and surrounding towns burring the pitch and stands in heavy snow.

Video posted on social media showed several fans digging snow out of seats. One fan even jumped on a slide spanning the tiers and meant to help ferry the snow to ground level.

The Bills had asked anyone age 18 and over interested in shoveling snow inside to report to Highmark Stadium. The franchise offered to pay $20 per hour along with with complimentary food and breaks.

Orchard Park received 17 inches of snow in 30 hours, according to local media.

In the end, the home team won with Josh Allen passing for three touchdowns and rushing for another to lead the Bills to a 31-17 victory.

The temperature at kickoff on Monday was 17 degrees Fahrenheit (-8 Celsius) with a windchill factor of 4 degrees (-16 Celsius).
