U.S. offers $5 million reward for information on Islamic State leader

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States said on Wednesday it would pay a $5 million reward for information leading to the location or identification of Islamic State leader Abu-Muhammad al-Shimali. The U.S. State Department said Al-Shimali has facilitated travel from Turkey to Syria of prospective Islamic State fighters from Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
