UK parliament rejects amendment J on delaying Brexit

LONDON (Reuters) - British lawmakers voted on Tuesday against a non-binding proposal to delay Brexit - a victory for Prime Minister Theresa May who opposed the plan.

Lawmakers voted 322 to 290 against the proposal put forward by the opposition Labour lawmaker Rachel Reeves.
