‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 4: Everything We Know So Far

One last season of The Umbrella Academy awaits viewers, but a recipe of a reset timeline, loss of powers and some familiar and new figures have entered the mix before the end.

How many episodes will be in The Umbrella Academy Season 4?

The fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy will contain six episodes. All three previous seasons contained 10 episodes. The episode titles are listed below:

  • Episode 2: “Jean and Gene”

  • Episode 3: “The Squid and the Girl”

  • Episode 4: “The Cleanse”

  • Episode 5: “Six Years, Five Months, Two Days”

Who is in The Umbrella Academy Season 4 cast?

Season 4’s returning cast includes Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya and Colm Feore.

Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally and David Cross joined the final season of the series in February 2023. Mullally and Offerman, who are married in real life, will play Drs. Gene and Jean Thibedeau, married community college professors from New Mexico. Cross will play Sy Gossman, a shy business owner who wishes to reconnect with his estranged daughter.

What is The Umbrella Academy Season 4 about?

Following the showdown at the Hotel Oblivion at the end of Season 3, the Hargreeves siblings’ timeline has completely reset, and they have scattered. They have also lost their powers, which means they have to learn how to fend for themselves in a new way. Their father, Reginald, is alive, and he has made himself known with a powerful business empire. A mysterious group called The Keepers meet in secret to discuss their suspicions about the reality in which they are living, predicting a great reckoning. Everything is on the line as the Umbrella Academy must reunite one last time to set things right.

Who is creating Season 4 of The Umbrella Academy?

Steve Blackman will return to executive produce and serve as showrunner. Jennifer Cecil, Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, Scott Stuber, Beau Bauman, Pascal Verschooris, Jesse McKeown, Abbey Morris, and Jeremy Webb also executive produce. Way and Bá serve as co-executive producers. UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, produces the show for Netflix.
