Drivers, take note: the Traffic Police’s (TP) unmarked cars now come equipped with blinkers and sirens.

Pictures of the new features aboard a white unmarked Toyota were posted on Wednesday (18 April) by the Use Your RoadSense Facebook page, which is managed by the TP. Such vehicles are used for the TP’s “covert enforcement operations”, the post said.

“(The new features) are designed to alert motorists of an impending traffic stop,” it added.
