Victoria Monét got elegant in a pair of pointed pumps at the 2024 BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The shoes, which were crafted in patent leather, were dramatized by an angular pointed design in the upper, and splashed in a dark blue color that matched her dress. The pumps were rounded out by a slim stiletto heel that measured approximately 4 inches in height. As for the rest of her outfit, the “On My Mama” singer wore a dark blue strapless dress characterized by its sharp bedazzled embezzlements and long train. Her signature blonde locks were parted to the side, which further complimented her 1990s style makeup.
Monét is known for alternating between sporty and elevated footwear looks when it comes to her appearances.
While performing at Coachella this past April, the singer donned a pair of custom Nike V2K Run sneakers that were made with mixed acrylic paints and featured a mesh upper, dual-density foam midsole, translucent plastic accents in reference to the classic Nike Vomero 5 and a rubber outsole. For the Billboard R&B Hip Hop Live held in Los Angeles last August, Monét appeared in a pair of Jimmy Choos that were likely finished with a stiletto heel that ranged between 3-to-4 inches.
She paired her stilettos with a strappy bra top and a high-waisted mermaid skirt featuring a flared hemline from LaQuan Smith. For last year’s BET Awards, she donned a pair of towering platform sandals with mirrored metallic silver leather uppers, open-toed straps, thick platform soles and thick block heels totaling at least 5 inches.
Styled by Kollin Carter, she teamed her sandals with a light brown crop top that had asymmetric fabric cups attached to thin strings and matching flared pants.
The BET Awards celebrate achievements in entertainment, honoring excellence in music, sports, television and movies. Taraji P. Henson will host the 2024 event, which will feature performances by Ice Spice, Tyla, GloRilla, Latto, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey, Victoria Monét and more.
