“VPR”: Sandoval Gives Tearful Apology to Ariana for Bringing Rachel into Their Lives and Calls Affair His 'Badge of Shame'

As Tom Sandoval showed remorse for his actions, Ariana Madix called out his "double life" and fake "waterworks", telling her ex he "brought this s---y person into both of our lives in a very f---ed up way"

Tom Sandoval is atoning not only for the actions that triggered Scandoval but also for its aftermath.

On Tuesday's final installment of the Vanderpump Rules season 11 reunion, Ariana Madix watched a never-before-seen clip of the cast's reaction to her refusal to confront Sandoval and her eventual decision to leave an engagement early.

While explaining why she chose to remove herself from the situation, Ariana, 38, told Sandoval, 40, that she wasn't interested in watching him turn on the "waterworks" and confessed she had a hard time believing his apologies were genuine.

"I don't know who you are," she said of his "double life" while wiping tears from her eyes. "I'm sorry if that's something you have a hard time with but that is the consequences of your actions towards me."

After both parties acknowledged that their "relationship wasn't perfect," Sandoval apologized to Ariana and noted that she didn't deserve to be cheated on.

"I know you don't want to be around me. Whatever our relationship was the good, the bad — whatever you did, whatever I did — it doesn't matter. You didn't deserve that," he continued. "And I'm really sorry, from the bottom of my heart."

"Ariana, I regret it every day. I wear it as a badge of shame. I did the thing that I said I would never do and I did it," he added with tears.

In March 2023, Ariana discovered Sandoval's months-long affair with their friend and former costar Rachel "Raquel" Leviss after finding an intimate video of her on Sandoval's phone. The ordeal, later dubbed Scandoval, ended their nine-year relationship and lead to a media storm against both Sandoval and Rachel.

Since then, Rachel has left Vanderpump Rules. Nearly a year after the incident, she sued Sandoval and Ariana for eavesdropping, revenge porn and invasion of privacy in February 2024.

At the third installment of the reunion, Ariana also addressed the public scrutiny she's faced and the events that have dominoed since the affair.

"You also brought this s---y person into both of our lives in a very f---ed up way and this bitch has to f---ing talk about me all the time," she said with thick emotion. "You did that!"

"I feel really bad about that, I understand," Sandoval replied, assuring her, "I wish you the best, and I will definitely give you your space. We'll figure everything out, we have our lawyers, don't worry about it. I understand."
