“VPR”: Schwartz and Katie 'Play Tongue Hockey' with Same Woman as Ariana Keeps Her 'Armor Up' After Scandoval

"I don't know if Katie's really into Tori or if she just kind of wants to compete with me and prove that she's better," Tom Schwartz said of his ex-wife Katie Maloney on the April 9 episode of 'Vanderpump Rules'

Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney are vying for the attention of the same woman.

On Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, Scheana Shay played matchmaker for the Schwartz & Sandy's co-owner, 41, by setting him up with her former nanny Tori following his split from ex-wife Katie Maloney.

However, she soon saw the error of her ways, saying, “Clearly, I misjudged things because when Katie heard about it she was like, ‘Um, no Tori should date me instead.’”

When Katie, 37, saw Schwartz flirting with Tori at the bar, she interrupted, earning her the title of “cock blocker” from her ex. He added, “I don't know if Katie's really into Tori or if she just kind of wants to compete with me and prove that she's better.”

“If he doesn't like me taking his girls from him, maybe he should try harder,” she countered.

After Tori admitted that she wanted to kiss Katie “so bad,” the pair began to makeout in front of their pals at the bar.

James Kennedy later questioned if the Something About Her co-owner was pursuing to compete with her ex. She defended herself, saying, “You guys think I care that much about what Tom does, no. It’s not always about him.”

However, Katie’s make out session didn’t derail Schwartz’s plans with Tori. The pair went out on a date and shared a kiss. While discussing his evening with Tori, he admitted, “She actually made out with my ex-wife the night before we went on a date, which is a little plot twist I didn’t see coming.”

Katie wasn’t Schwartz’s only issue in the romance department. Jo got upset when he kissed another girl in front of her at a single event. He soon realized he had been sending her “mixed signals” and the pair ultimately called off their friendships with benefits arrangement.

Elsewhere in the episode, Ariana Madix admitted the anger she had for ex Tom Sandoval “isn’t healthy.”

When Scheana told Ariana, 38, that she wanted her to be happy and get out of the house she shared with Sandoval. she ultimately agreed, tearfully saying, “You’re right. It just sucks, like I put so much of my life and my money and my time into making my dream home… not only did he wreck it but the way he acts like he is somewhat deserving of staying there… I never did anything to him."

“I keep my armor up because this s--- is f---ing traumatic,” she added as she broke down in tears over Scandoval. “And I'm trying to find ways to go through all these things without making it everybody else's problem. but then he's openly talking s--- because the guy has no remorse.”

Lala Kent later told Scheana that Ariana “isn’t going to win this game” when it comes to her battle with Sandoval over the home because “this is very simple: move out.”

She added, “You’re choosing to stay in the house so I don’t feel bad.”

But, Scheana thought it came down to “pride” and Lala responded, “So hold on, your pride is saved by living with the man who cheated on you with your best friend? You’d have more pride moving to Sunset, living in a box.”
