Arne Slot will today hold his first press conference as Liverpool manager.

The Dutchman was finally unveiled in front of the media last month, weeks after he had officially replaced Jurgen Klopp as the man in the Anfield dugout.

It is a new era for the Reds, who won the Carabao Cup during Klopp’s final season in charge to cap off a trophy-laden spell for the German.

Slot was eventually the man the club turned to, despite links with a raft of managers such as Xabi Alonso and Robert De Zerbi.

Having impressed as Feyenoord manager, it will be fascinating to see what message he sends out.
